SeaCamp is a wonderful week-long experience for children. We want you to know that the health and safety of your child is of the utmost importance to us and we have implemented procedures that meet the guidelines of the CDC, American Camp Association, and the directives issued by the State of Georgia’s Executive Order. Before you register, please click to download a SeaCamp information sheet.
We’re in the process of updating our website with the procedures and schedules we’ve put in place to accommodate the State of Georgia’s health and safety directives, but we have a bit more work on our gallery experience–we hope to have everything in place soon. Meanwhile, the staff is out collecting animals for the gallery, from the beach, marsh, and ocean–so you can meet them when you visit.
Beach Walk Learn about tides, dunes, and our ocean’s wildlife. Sift & Seine Pull a 10′ seine net the water, sift organisms from the sand. Jelly Jive Do jellies sting because they don’t have a heart? Marsh Trek in Georgia’s salt marsh and explore the mud. Turtle Talk Georgia’s nesting sea turtles and our conservation efforts. Shark Jaw Bulls, blacktips, and tigers-so misunderstood. Whale Tale 70-ton toothless right whales are born right here.
