Consider Volunteering with Us!
It’s a good time. You’ll learn a lot. Become a part of promoting responsible stewardship of coastal Georgia’s marine ecosystem. Checkout our volunteer positions and their scope:
Assist marine science educators in delivering programs to children and adult groups in the classroom, on the beach, and in the marsh.
Engage scouts, school groups, and island visitors in our Coastal Georgia Gallery by interpreting the Touch Tank and exhibits.
Represent the center at community outreach events and teach the public with traveling displays on sea turtles, whales, sharks, and jellies.
Prepare diets, feed animals, clean algae, and collect specimens for the Coastal Georgia Gallery’s exhibits.
Help injured birds and reptiles by collecting the animals, assisting in triage, and transporting to the center or a local veterinarian.
