Ocean Outreach Programs
Live marine animals! Sea shells and sand!

Marine Educators from the Tybee Island Marine Science Center will come to your classroom to engage your students in hands-on activities to learn about the marine ecosystem of coastal Georgia.  Programs are approximately one hour long and are available for up to 30 students.  Programs for larger groups may be arranged.

Programs and activities are grade appropriate and feature a variety of live marine animals and topics, sea shells, fossils, whale bones, sea turtle shells, and other artifacts.  Call Sarah Barlow (912-786-5917) to arrange a program that will support your lesson plans.
